Oil India seeks battery storage system for field installations

Oil India intends to deploy battery energy storage systems (BESS) alongside gas engine-driven generators in its field installations. With this arrangement, it will run the generator during the daytime only (while charging the BESS) and draw power from the charged BESS for the night hours.
