Pace Digitek Ltd, an integrated provider of telecom infrastructure and energy solutions, has secured the EPC contract for a 200 MW/400 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) from NTPC Ltd. The BESS is to be implemented at the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Station in Bihar.

The contract, valued at INR 4,945.40 million (excluding GST), covers supply, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance of the BESS infrastructure, along with associated civil, structural and site works. The execution period for supply and services is 15 months followed by comprehensive annual maintenance for 11 years.

“This order from NTPC represents a significant addition to our energy order book and reinforces our capabilities in executing integrated BESS projects,” said chairman & managing director, Venugopal Rao Maddisetty. “As energy storage becomes an increasingly important component of power infrastructure, our ability to deliver end-to-end execution including supply, infrastructure execution and lifecycle services positions us well for utility-scale opportunities.”
