Axis Energy has proposed to invest INR 31,750 crore in Odisha to develop large-scale renewable energy projects. According to the proposal, it plans to develop a diversified portfolio of nearly 5 GW of clean energy capacity across wind, solar, agri-photovoltaic (agri-PV), hybrid projects, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The proposed investment is expected to generate more than 5,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Separately, Axis Energy, along with Evren, has already committed INR 31,500 crore for the development of 2,750 MW of renewable energy projects in Telangana. Spread across nearly 19,750 acres, those projects include wind, solar, hybrid, and agri-PV solutions and are expected to create over 4,750 direct jobs.
