Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has successfully concluded its eighth auction under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A), discovering a price of INR 54.73/kg for the supply of 1,00,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of green ammonia to Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd (IFFCO) at Kandla, Gujarat.
Acme Cleantech Solutions emerged as the winning bidder. This marks Acme Cleantech’s third win under SECI’s green ammonia auctions. Previously, the company secured 75,000 tpa for Paradip Phosphates Ltd in Odisha at INR 55.75/kg and 50,000 tpa for Coromandel International Ltd in Andhra Pradesh at INR 51.89/kg.
