Solex Energy secures 310 MW solar module order from KPI Green

Surat-based Solex Energy Ltd announced that it has won an order from KPI Green Energy Ltd, a renewable power producer and EPC company, to supply 310 MW of n-type TOPCon 615 Wp glass-to-glass (G12R) solar PV modules, valued at INR 451.41 crore. The modules will be used in KPI Green Energy’s projects for Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.

Module deliveries will start from September 2025 onwards.

“This significant order reinforces the market’s confidence in Solex’s technology, reliability, and capacity to execute large-scale projects,” said Chetan Shah, chairman & managing director, of Solex Energy. “We are proud to support KPI Green Energy in their mission to expand clean energy infrastructure across India.”

Solex is operating 1.5 GW of module production capacity and is working on bringing a 2.5 GW module line online by September 2025, boosting its total module output to 4 GW annually. It also started work on its state-of-the-art 2 GW n-type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility, with operations slated to begin in early 2027. The company targets cumulative module capacity of 15 GW and cell capacity of 5 GW by the end of the decade.
