Vikram Solar secures 150 MW module supply order in Maharashtra

Kolkata-headquartered Vikram Solar has secured a module supply order for a 150 MW PV project from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd (MAHAGENCO), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking.

As part of the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply 150 MW of its advanced n-type modules for projects being developed in the Jalgaon and Solapur districts under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY). The modules are scheduled for delivery in the financial year 2025–26.

Gyanesh Chaudhary, chairman and managing director, Vikram Solar, said, “As we continue to expand our presence in key markets, such as Maharashtra, our focus remains on delivering value and excellence to our partners and communities. We view Maharashtra as a high-potential market with a rapidly growing appetite for renewable energy, and we remain optimistic about the region’s accelerating demand trajectory.”
