Grew Energy appoints Hardip Singh as chief operations officer

Grew Energy, a solar manufacturer and services provider in India, has announced the appointment of Hardip Singh as the chief operations officer for its solar modules business. In this role, Singh will oversee sales and operations of Grew’s module business.

Singh brings to Grew Energy over 37 years of experience across domains like manufacturing, sales and marketing, distribution, planning and operations.

Vinay Thadani, chief executive officer and director, Grew Energy, said, “[Singh’s] leadership skills and business acumen will help our module business propel and penetrate various parts of the country. We look forward to his insights and support in achieving our targets in the modules segment and fine tune customer experience.”

Grew has started production at its first 1.2 GW module manufacturing unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and will soon complete addition of another 1.6 GW TopCon module manufacturing at the same location. The company plans to achieve 6 GW of modules manufacturing capacity and 2.8 GW of solar cells, wafers and ingots by FY 2025.
