Chinese PV inverter and battery manufacturer Sineng Electric has announced that its cumulative shipments of PV inverters to India have exceeded 10 GW. The company entered the Indian market by setting up a 3 GW manufacturing base in Bangalore in 2018. It expanded the annual production capacity of this facility to 10 GW in 2021.
Sineng has a dedicated local workforce of around 200 employees, two marketing centers, and four after-sales service centers as it pursues a localization strategy from production to after-sales support.
Sineng Electric India also introduced new products for utility-scale solar applications.
The SP-350K-INH string inverter features a maximum output power of 352 kW. The inverter is equipped with 12 MPPTs and supports up to 32 strings and a flexible DC/AC ratio. With a 45 A maximum input current per MPPT, it is compatible with high-power modules.
The EP-4400-HB-UD central inverter, with a higher power density, supports bigger block sizes and ensures higher yields.
