Premier Energies has secured a 350 MW bifacial solar module supply order from IRCON Renewable Power Ltd under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category that mandates the modules must use made-in-India cells.

Premier Energies expects the module deliveries to complete by August 2024.

Premier Energies has a state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad with a production capacity of 2 GW of solar cells and 4 GW of solar modules and another 1.6 GW under construction. The facility is equipped with an automated mono PERC manufacturing line (capable of producing cells with efficiencies of up to 23.3%) and can handle TOPCon cells with larger sizes such as M10 and M12, and multi-busbar cells.
