PFC Consulting launches 1.25 GW solar tender

PFC Consulting Ltd, an arm of Power Finance Corp, has invited proposals to set up 1.25 GW of solar projects in India for bundling of solar power with conventional power of NTPC Stations. The capacity is tendered under the Scheme for flexibility in the generation and scheduling of thermal/hydro power stations through bundling with renewable energy and storage power.

The winning developers will build the PV projects on a build-own-operate basis.

Bidding closes on Oct. 12.
