Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), an arm of Tata Power, has signed a power delivery agreement (PDA) for a 4.4 MW AC solar project. The agreement was signed with the Anand Group, an automotive systems and parts manufacturer.
Under this agreement, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd will establish a renewable energy project to generate 10 million units of clean energy. The project is expected to eliminate 5,500 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
Previously, Tata Power and the Anand Group collaborated for a 10.1 MW solar power project, located in Maharashtra.
With the latest addition, TPREL’s total renewables capacity reaches 7,787 MW, including 3,655 MW projects under various stages of implementation and 4,132 MW of operational capacity (3,139 MW solar and 993 MW wind).
