Magenta Mobility opens its largest EV charging depot

Magenta Mobility has opened its largest EV charging depot which has the capacity to charge up to 70 electric vehicles at the same time. The new charging depot is set up at Bilekahalli, Bengaluru, and spans 11,000 sq feet. It has 63 AC chargers of 3.3 kW and three DC chargers of 15 kW GB/T with additional space for further expansion.

“This marks the 23rd charging depot of Magenta Mobility in Bengaluru and the 35th charging depot in India with a plan for 14 more in the first quarter of FY 2023-24,” stated Magenta Mobility.

A substation of 315 kVA has been installed to provide a stable and uninterrupted power supply to the chargers.

“This new depot designed with sustainability in mind will enable us to charge our fleet efficiently and effectively while contributing to the growth of EVs in India,” said Maxson Lewis, founder and managing director of Magenta Mobility.

Magenta Mobility provides end-to-end integrated e-mobility solutions including electric vehicles, charging infrastructure & software technology. Currently, it has an electric fleet of over 600 vehicles spread across Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon serving clients in e-commerce, grocery, FMCG, food, and pharmaceuticals for their last-mile deliveries.
