Share

The Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency has started accepting expressions of interest from lithium battery and solar module manufacturers to set up factories in Bihar.

All of the bidders who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be granted provisional empanelment. They will later be eligible to receive preferential procurement incentives.

To be eligible, solar module manufacturers should have at least 25 MW of annual manufacturing capacity. The qualifying capacity for lithium battery manufacturers has been set at a minimum of 50,000 units per year.

Manufacturers must be willing to set up their proposed plants in Bihar within six months. They must agree to set up PV module factories with annual outputs of at least 25 MW, or lithium battery plants with capacities of 50,000 units per year.
