Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has invited bids to set up an aggregate 166 MW of grid-connected solar plants in Gujarat.
The tendered capacity includes 131 MW of solar plants in Surendranagar and Morbi districts and 35 MW in the Kutchh District around GETCO substations.
The work scope for selected bidders includes “design, engineering, supply & procurement, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the solar plants.”
The contractor shall employ solar PV modules of crystalline-silicon (poly/multi or mono/single) solar technology only. The PV modules to be employed shall be of minimum 72-cell configuration with a rated power of minimum 300 Wp, as per the tender document.
