REIL seeks 200,000 silicon solar cells

Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) has invited bids to supply five-busbar mono/multi-crystalline silicon solar cells rated for minimum of 4.62 watts. An aggregate 200,000 quantity is required.

The solar cells should be 156×156 ± 1.0mm or 156.75×156.75 ± 1.0 mm in size, with a cell thickness of 200±20 microns.

Cells with plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition of silicon nitride (deep blue color) as anti-reflection coating are preferred.

Bids of only REIL-approved suppliers will be considered against this tender. New vendors will be considered for development order subject to completion of the vendor registration process, sample approval, and compliance of techno-commercial conditions, as per the tender document.

The contract period is up to March 31, 2022. The cells are to be supplied in two lots of one lakh each within two weeks from REIL delivery clearance.
