AAI’s Deoghar airport to get a solar rooftop

The Airports Authority of India Limited has invited bids to set up a 330 kWp grid-connected solar power system at Deoghar Airport in the state of Jharkhand. The proposed plant shall be installed on the rooftop and car parking on the premises of Deoghar Airport.

The project cost is estimated at INR 1.73 crore and the time allowed for completion is four months.

The work scope for the successful bidder includes design, engineering, supply, transportation, loading/unloading, storage, installation, testing and commissioning of the plant and interconnection to the AAI’s 415V LT panel of the substation as required.

To be eligible, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar work for three projects of around INR 69 lakh each, or two projects of INR 87 lakh each, or one project of INR 1.4 crore during the last seven years.

Further, the bidder should have an annualized average financial turnover of INR 52 lakh against projects executed during the last three years, and a minimum net worth of INR 26 lakh.
