Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids for selection of solar power developers for setting up of 3 GW Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected solar power projects under global competitive bidding. Out of its 20 GW tender plan for the 2017-18 fiscal year, approximately 11 GW has already been tendered.

SECI tenders 160 MW hybrid energy storage project in Andhra Pradesh
The hybrid project will have energy source form both solar and wind, with an energy storage facility tentatively located in Andhra Pradesh.
SECI postpones 2 GW tender and extends solar manufacturing EoI deadline
The Solar Energy Corporation of India has postponed the 2 GW PV project tender until further notice. The company has also extended the deadline for expression of interest for setting up the solar manufacturing plant in India until January 29.
