State-owned hydropower producer NHPC has invited domestic bids to set up a 65 MW grid-connect solar plant in district Jalaun. Bidding closes on November 18.
Domestic bids are invited to develop a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project on a turnkey basis anywhere in the state. Land for the project is to be identified and arranged by the bidder. Bidding closes on October 17.
The generation capacity – three 450 MWp projects in Rajasthan – is expected to be commissioned towards early 2022.
The state-run hydropower producer is in talks with Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited to form a joint venture to explore and develop an aggregate 500 MW of floating solar power projects in the state.
The state, which is aiming to hit 2.2 GW of solar within two years, has received a Solar Energy Corporation of India proposal for 500 MW of floating project capacity even as it approves a 40 MW water-borne array put forward by the national solar body. The 500 MW suggested comes on top of a similar scale of floating PV planned across the state by public hydropower company NHPC.
The two entities shall form a joint venture to plan and develop an aggregate 500 MW of floating solar capacity in a phased manner, preferably in 50 MW packages, in the state.
August 26 is the last date to bid for engineering, procurement and construction work of 40 MW solar capacity, along with associated transmission line connectivity, in Ganjam district.
Domestic bids are invited for engineering, procurement and construction of a 50 MW floating solar project that shall come up over a 303-acre water body in Kollam District. Bidding closes on August 11.

Developers have until January 17 to submit bid for the grid-connected projects that are to be set up anywhere in India on build-own-operate basis. Tariff ceiling payable to the project developer is fixed at INR 2.78/KWh for 25 years.
