Germany’s Belectric bags 100 MW+ project from Cleantech Solar

The company has signed an agreement with Cleantech Solar for a PV project with a capacity of more than 100 MW. The project—to be delivered in three phases—is expected to be completed within this year.

Adani Green commissions 100 MW solar capacity in Uttar Pradesh

The solar capacity—comprising two plants of 50 MW each—were completed ahead of schedule despite adverse conditions amidst Covid-19. The plants benefit from 25-year power purchase agreements with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, at INR 3.22/kWh and INR 3.19/kWh, respectively.

Adani Green Energy commissions 150 MW solar power plant in Gujarat

The 150 MW solar plant in Kutchh is Adani Green Energy’s third PV commissioning within a month. Its other two solar capacities that became operational since December end include 100 MW at Khirsara, Gujarat, and 25 MW at Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh.

Tata Power to develop 100 MW solar project in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra project is the developer’s second large-scale solar win this month following a 120 MW project in Gujarat. The electricity generated will be supplied to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) under a 25-year power purchase agreement.

Global bids are invited for supply, installation and commissioning of two sets of 1500V 3-phase grid-connected outdoor PCUs for a 2x50MW solar plant at Raghanesda. Bidding closes on March 7.

NLC commissions 100 MW solar plant in Tamil Nadu

The plant—located at Maranthai and Pudur Villages in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu—is part of 709 MW solar power projects awarded by utility Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation.

EESL tenders 100 MW solar in 3 states, plans 200 MW rooftop in Maharashtra

India’s Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has invited bids from domestic and international players for setting up of small grid-interactive solar plants ranging from 500 KW to 2 MW at lands of state-owned utilities. The cumulative capacity, to be installed in turnkey mode, is 40 MW for Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh each and 20 MW for Jharkhand. The state-run energy service company is also mulling to install an aggregate 200 MW of grid-connected solar rooftop across 5,000 state-owned buildings in Maharashtra.
