The state-owned hydropower producer has landed a 100 MW solar project from the Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd at INR 2.69/kWh tariff.
Bidders now have until September 24 to lodge their interest in engineering, procurement, and construction of a 100 MW solar project. The responsibility for the land arrangement lies with the installer.
The latest addition takes Tata Power Renewable Energy’s total installed capacity to 2,797 MW, including 1,865 MW of solar and 932 MW wind.
Bidders have until April 15 to lodge their interest in the grid-connected solar project, which must be commissioned within a year from the award of contract. Operation and maintenance of the plant for five years also falls under the bidder’s scope.
Bidders have until May 5 to lodge their interest for developing 100 MW of grid-connected solar capacity in the district Mirzapur.
With non-solar park auction yielding a much lower tariff of INR 1.99/kWh, the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has retendered the capacities for fresh tariff discovery. Bidding closes on April 12.
The company has signed an agreement with Cleantech Solar for a PV project with a capacity of more than 100 MW. The project—to be delivered in three phases—is expected to be completed within this year.
The solar capacity—comprising two plants of 50 MW each—were completed ahead of schedule despite adverse conditions amidst Covid-19. The plants benefit from 25-year power purchase agreements with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, at INR 3.22/kWh and INR 3.19/kWh, respectively.
The 150 MW solar plant in Kutchh is Adani Green Energy’s third PV commissioning within a month. Its other two solar capacities that became operational since December end include 100 MW at Khirsara, Gujarat, and 25 MW at Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh.
Bids can be submitted until February 16 to install and commission the project at the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park (UMREPP) in Koppal District.
