SECI tenders 1.2 GW of wind-solar hybrid projects

Developers can compete for a minimum of 50 MW, up to all 1200 MW tendered capacity. The projects—to be developed on a build-own-operate basis—can be set up anywhere in India at the locations chosen by the developer. Bidding closes on May 28.

Adani Green Energy awarded 600 MW wind-solar hybrid project 

With this project, Adani Green Energy’s total renewable energy project capacity has swelled to 14,795 MW, of which 2,950 MW projects are operational and 11,845 MW under implementation.

SECI tenders 1.2 GW wind-solar hybrid, 4 MW floating solar plus storage

Developers have until February 25 to bid for ISTS connected wind-solar hybrid projects to be set up anywhere in India at the location of their choice. Bidding for 4 MW of grid-connected floating solar project with 2 MW/1 MWh battery energy storage system—to be set up in Andaman & Nicobar Islands—closes on February 13.

1.2 GW hybrid tender gets only two bidders yet again

Adani Green Energy and ReNew Power made techno-commercial bids for 600 MW and 300 MW, respectively, leaving the tendered capacity undersubscribed by 300 MW.
