Mitsui Chemicals India (MCIND) – Solar PV Lab is based in Ahmedabad and offers a wide spectrum of services for “Ensuring Quality from Factory to Field”. This lab is furnished with state-of-the art equipment which is technologically advanced to perform testing of all commercially available High-Efficiency module technologies in the current Solar PV market.
MCIND – Solar PV Lab received in 2021 NABL accreditation to test Ultra-Large (up to and beyond 1.4 x 2.4 m) high efficiency PV modules including PERC and Bi-facial modules. Such recognition allows MCIND to test according to IEC 61215 and 61730, with the technical support of the Netherlands based PV Experts from Solar Chills.
This year MCIND – Solar PV Lab aims to expand the services to offer all latest standards, including Energy Matrix measurements according to IEC 61853. Again MCIND is entrusting Solar Chills to help in optimizing the test processes to cover all range of panels, like bifacial and Ultra-Large PV module. The NABL accreditation process for the new IEC 61853 services is expected to be completed by Q4 2022.
