Gautam Solar has secured 6th position in the recent report by JMK Research & Analytics for Q2 2025. The report highlights the competitive performance of 21 prominent players in India’s solar module market.
According to the data, the total modules shipped during the quarter were 8.6GW, with the top six makers accounting for more than 57% of this capacity. Gautam Solar’s inclusion among the top six producers indicates the rising role played by it in India’s solar manufacturing sector, which is in line with the Government’s vision of ‘Make in India’, and also towards the achievement of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.
The reports further revealed that the domestic manufacturers stood at 95.3% of the total shipments, while international and Chinese contenders accounted for 3.4%. This Indian industry dominance also indicates the integral role of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) regulation and the policy thrust of the Government of India towards self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing.
