Under Skill Development Initiative, the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute is organizing a national workshop on advances in energy storage technologies, systems and materials (AESTSM-2020). The workshop shall be conducted on January 23 and 24 at its Durgapur campus.
Funded by DRDO-Jagadish Chandra Bose Center for Advanced Technology (JCBCAT), Kolkata, the workshop will bring together participants from R&D organizations, academia and industries to exchange and share their research ideas and discuss the future trends in energy storage technologies for transportation electrification, renewable energy and defence applications.
Topics covered include energy storage materials, Li-ion batteries and battery management system, ultracapacitors, hybridization of energy sources, power electronic interface, energy management strategies.
