With a strong fleet of 2,700+ EVs across seven cities, Magenta is preparing for its next phase of growth. This will include the brand’s aim to scale up to 10,000 electric vehicles by 2026, as well as continuing to invest in a strong technology foundation built in-house and complemented by capable partners. Bosch’s domain expertise will play an important role in supporting and optimizing the digital infrastructure needed to manage this growth.
The engagement will enable Magenta to further strengthen its backend digital infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as the business grows. Bosch’s support will focus on enhancing Magenta’s cloud operations, infrastructure management, vulnerability handling, and digital operations. Core platforms such as Magenta’s proprietary telematics system, NorMinc, and its in-house mobility and fleet optimization solutions will continue to be developed and managed internally by Magenta’s technology team. Bosch’s contributions will add to the robustness of Magenta’s in-house technology platforms, helping the company deliver greater efficiency and a seamless experience for clients and drivers alike.
Speaking on the collaboration Mr. Pradeep Ramachandra, Chief Technology Officer – Bosch Mobility Platform and Solutions, said, “We are looking forward to support Magenta’s scale-up journey with our deep technology expertise and help them drive the electric mobility transformation in India. Our partnership will not just help Magenta scale up their digital foundational layer, but also evolve into our vision of enabling safe, sustainable mobility, powered by our digital platforms.”
Importantly, Magenta continues to own and lead the development of its broader technology stack, with Bosch playing a strategic support role in select digital infrastructure and operational areas. This collaboration reflects Magenta’s digital-first, partnership-driven approach to building a sustainable, scalable logistics platform for the future.
