Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Jakson Green have partnered to build giga-scale clean energy projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Asia Pacific countries.

The MoU envisages exploring prospects in renewables, LNG for road transport, regasification of imported LNG, and import and handling of different hydrocarbons which are important chemical and petrochemical precursors. 

Pune-based Thermax has partnered with Australia’s Fortescue Future Industries to explore opportunities for the joint development of fully integrated green hydrogen projects for commercial and industrial customers in India. They also contemplate collaborating on electrolyzer and subsystem manufacturing facilities to support green energy projects in India.

Indian developer Acme Group and Japan’s IHI have signed a pact to jointly explore opportunities across the green hydrogen and ammonia value chain, including production, handling, transportation, distribution, and power generation.

India’s Energy Efficiency Services Ltd has agreed to provide technical advisory, project management, contracting and implementation support for energy efficiency programmes in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

State-run hydropower producer THDC has formed a 74:26 joint venture with Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corp. Ltd to develop 10 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan. The JV partners also plan floating solar and pumped hydro storage projects in the state.

Indian developer Acme and the Norwegian investment fund have signed the framework agreement to co-invest in developing potential renewable energy projects in India.

Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd and NTPC Green Energy Ltd will collaborate in renewable energy, energy storage, round-the-clock (RTC) power, electric mobility, and solar-wind value chain projects.

The state-owned power generator has started green hydrogen blending at 5% by volume in the piped natural gas (PNG) supply to households of NTPC Kawas township in Gujarat.

The $50 million electrolyzer factory is expected to start production in 2023. It will produce all four types of commercially available electrolyzers.
