France’s AX Solar Robot has unveiled two battery-free, hydraulic-powered cleaning solutions for ground-mounted PV plants. It is also distributing a modular battery-powered solution suitable for rooftop installations.

Gujarat-based KPI Green Energy is developing a 16.10 MW wind-solar hybrid power plant in Gujarat. It expects the project to go online in March 2023.

Gensol, an Ahmedabad-based solar advisory and EPC services provider, secured 55.8 MWp of ground-mount and rooftop solar projects in August.

Ravi Verma, senior executive vice president at Avaada, told pv magazine that the Group would invest $5 billion into setting up an integrated green hydrogen and ammonia plant with 6 GW of captive renewable energy capacity in the state. The green ammonia facility will have a production capacity of 1 million tons per annum. 

Indian researchers have developed a new hybrid system featuring a conventional rooftop PV system, a solar tree, two gravity power modules for building (GPMBs), and a vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB), with power exclusively provided by the two solar installations.

Larsen & Toubro, an engineering and construction major, has installed and commissioned 380 kW of an 800 kW green hydrogen plant for self-consumption at its Hazira manufacturing complex in Gujarat.

Oriano has finished a new solar plant in Chhattisgarh, as part of a 172 MW DC open-access PV order from diversified business conglomerate HIRA Group of Industries. 

India has surpassed 10 GW of overall renewables capacity installed for offtake through open access.
