And yet “agreeing” on the right energy yield of a PV plant has always been the most heated debate between developers, investors, lenders, and technical advisers. Supply demand mismatch is the most crucial factor which is directly or indirectly leading to an increase in module prices. At present, demand (especially for poly-Si) far outstrips the supply. A balance between the supply and demand is essential for stabilization of solar module prices.

Punjab-based ST Cottex India is getting a 5 MWp rooftop solar plant installed at its yarn manufacturing unit in Ludhiana. Mumbai-based EPC solutions provider Roofsol Energy is doing the ‘OPEX’ mode installation.
