Indian solar EPC provider and module manufacturer Kosol Energie has signed an agreement with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to deploy India’s largest distributed residential rooftop solar project, covering around 150,000 homes under the PM Suryaghar Yojana. The company has finalized a 360 MW microinverter supply agreement with global smart energy technology provider Hoymiles Power Electronics Inc for these residential rooftop solar installations throughout Andhra Pradesh.

According to the companies, the deal represents the largest single microinverter order executed in the Indian solar market to date.

“Deploying a microinverter-based architecture at this scale will enable higher energy yields, improved safety, module-level monitoring, and long-term system reliability—key factors for India’s rapidly expanding rooftop and decentralized solar market,” stated Kosol Energie. “Through this collaboration with Hoymiles, Kosol Energie leverages globally proven microinverter technology, cost-optimized system architecture, and strong local and global after-sales support, including 24/7 technical assistance and rapid resolution timelines.”
