Delta Electronics India, a provider of power management and smart green solutions, has announced the signing of an agreement to supply 110 MW of power conditioning systems (PCS) to Prostarm Info Systems’s battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in India.
Under the agreement, Delta will supply 100 units of its made-in-India 1.1 MW bi-directional PCS, which will be deployed in energy storage projects for utilities including Bihar State Power Generation Co. Ltd (BSPGCL) and Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd (AEML).
Prostarm Info Systems is engaged in the design, manufacturing, assembly, sale, service, and supply of energy storage and power conditioning equipment. The company is setting up a BESS manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 1.2 GWh at Reliance MET in Jhajjar, Haryana.
Delta’s power conditioning systems are manufactured at its facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Designed for utility-scale energy storage and microgrid applications, the systems support key functions such as peak shaving, PV smoothing, and grid ancillary services. They offer up to 98.5% energy conversion efficiency, output power capacity of up to 1,160 kVA, and scalability of up to five units operating in parallel.
