Saatvik Green Energy Ltd today announced that it has received an additional order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) for off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems. Under the contract, it will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems across identified farmer sites in Maharashtra.
The additional order, awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana/PM-KUSUM Component-B scheme, comprises the supply of 1,000 solar water pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacity, with an approximate order value of INR 16.74 crore (exclusive of GST).
With this latest order, the total order size from MSEDCL now stands at 1,815 solar water pumps, aggregating to an approximate value of INR 30.24 crore (exclusive of GST).
Under the scope of the contract, Saatvik Green Energy will also provide complete system warranty, repair and maintenance services, and a remote monitoring system for a period of five years, ensuring long-term performance reliability for farmers.
Installation and commissioning of the systems will be completed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed/work order by the respective circle office.
This order further strengthens Saatvik’s presence in the decentralised solar and agricultural energy segment, a key focus area aligned with national priorities around energy security, sustainable farming practices, and rural electrification.
