Oswal Pumps wins INR 380 crore order for 13,738 off-grid solar water pumps in Maharashtra

Oswal Pumps today announced that it has received a Letter of Empanelment and Letter of Award from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 13,738 off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems under the PM-KUSUM Component-B Scheme, “Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump” Yojana. The total value of 13,738 solar pumps is around INR 380 crore (including GST).

Under the award, Oswal Pumps is responsible for design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar pumps in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities. The systems will be installed at designated farmers’ sites across districts in Maharashtra.

The scope also includes a five-year comprehensive system warranty, repair and maintenance services, and deployment of a remote monitoring system for all installations.

The Letter of Empanelment is valid for one year, and the installation must be completed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the work order.
