Premier Energies enters solar inverter segment with acquisition of KSolare Energy in JV with Syrma SGS

Premier Energies Ltd has announced that its Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of solar inverter manufacturing company KSolare Energy. The Company will acquire 51% of the issued and paid-up equity share capital of KSolare Energy for around INR 86.7 crore. Post-acquisition, KSolare Energy will become a subsidiary of Premier Energies Ltd.

In addition, Syrma SGS Technologies Ltd will co-acquire the remaining 49% stake in KSolar for an aggregate consideration of approx. INR 83.3 crore.

Premier Energies has entered into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of equity shares constituting 51% of KSolare Energy. It has also entered into a shareholders’ agreement to govern the rights and obligations of the shareholders under the joint venture.

KSolare Energy, incorporated in 2012, is a manufacturer of solar inverters and smart energy solutions. Headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, the company operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of 500,000 inverters. KSolare specializes in designing and manufacturing a diverse range of solar inverters — including on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid models — primarily catering to the residential solar segment. For FY2024–25, KSolare Energy reported a revenue of INR 342 crore.
