Greenzo Energy Ltd, an integrated green hydrogen company, has secured the order for modular hydrogen electrolyser unit from R&D division of Engineers India Ltd (EIL)—a public-sector enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
The order, formalized through a Letter of Intent (LoI) and purchase order, covers the supply, sitework, and mandatory spares for a hydrogen electrolyser modular unit, which will be deployed at EIL’s R&D Complex in Gurgaon, Haryana.
The project will serve as a foundation for developing scalable, indigenous hydrogen solutions that can be replicated across refineries, fertilizer plants, steel, cement, and other hard-to-abate sectors, thereby accelerating India’s decarbonization targets.
With decades of experience in over 25 hydrogen and ammonia units, EIL is advancing the implementation of green hydrogen projects in key sectors such as refineries, fertilizers, and steel, in alignment with the government’s push for the adoption of green hydrogen technologies. EIL’s initiatives in this domain include feasibility studies, project design and engineering, and technology development.
