NTPC Green Energy tenders EPC of 80 MW/320 MWh battery energy storage system in Kerala

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a grid-connected 80 MW/320 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Kerala. The project will be developed across two Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) substations: Pothencode and Sreekantapuram.

The selected bidders will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, installation, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the BESS system on a turnkey basis.

The total project is divided into two blocks:

  • Block-1: 40 MW/160 MWh at KSEB Pothencode Substation
  • Block-2: 40 MW /160 MWh at KSEB Sreekantapuram Substation

Bidders must bid for at least one block and are permitted to bid for both.
