ReNew reports 13-fold jump in Q1 net profit

ReNew Energy Global, a leading decarbonization solutions company, today announced its unaudited consolidated results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q1 FY26), ending June 30, 2025. The company posted robust year-on-year growth across key financial and operational metrics.

Total revenue for Q1 FY 2026 stood at INR 41,182 million ($480 million), up from INR 24,903 million for Q1 FY 2025. This included INR 25,473 million from power sale. Net profit increased 13-fold to INR 5,131 million. Adjusted EBITDA is 43% YoY up to INR 27,220 million.

External sales from solar module and cell manufacturing generated INR 13,223 million in revenue, contributing INR 3,562 million in net profit and INR 5,292 million in adjusted EBITDA.

The company’s total portfolio reached 18.2 GW and 1.1 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) as of June 30, 2025—compared to 15.6 GW a year ago. Commissioned capacity increased 14.8% year-over-year to 11.1 GW (+150 MWh BESS).

The company has manufacturing capacity for 6.5 GW of solar modules and 2.5 GW PV cells with another 4 GW cell manufacturing facility under construction.
