Jakson Green wins SECI’s 6th green ammonia auction at record-low price of INR 50.75/kg

Jakson Green has emerged as the successful bidder in Solar Energy Corp. of India’s (SECI) 6th green ammonia auction, securing a capacity of 85,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) at a record-low price of INR 50.75 per kg. This bid beats the previous lowest price of INR 51.80/kg, setting a new benchmark for green ammonia pricing in India.

The green ammonia will be supplied to Coromandel International Ltd (CIL) in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

The capacity was tendered under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme, Mode-2A, which includes provisions for assured offtake.
