Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has discovered a competitive price of INR 52.50 per kg in the latest green ammonia auction for Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC), Bharuch. Onix Renewable Ltd emerged as the winning bidder for production and supply of 50,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually.
The capacity was allocated through the fifth electronic reverse auction (e-RA) conducted under Tranche-I, Mode-2A of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s SIGHT Scheme.
Winners in the previous auctions included ACME Cleantech (75,000 tpa at INR 55.75/kg), NTPC Renewable Energy (70,000 tpa at INR 51.80/kg), Oriana Power (60,000 tpa at INR 52.25/kg), and SSC Infrastructure (70,000 tpa at INR 53.05 per kg).
