GAIL tenders EPC of 17.5 MW floating solar plant

GAIL (India) Ltd, India’s largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company, has invited bids to set up a 17.5 MW (AC) grid-connected floating solar plant on engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) or lumpsum turnkey basis at its Pata facility in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh.

The project scope includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 17.5 MW grid-connected floating PV plant along with power evacuation system at the final evacuation point. The selected contractor will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of the floating PV plant for three years and comprehensive annual maintenance of critical equipment for a period of ten years.
