Greater Noida-based Alpex Solar Ltd, an NSE Emerge-listed manufacturer of solar systems, has won orders worth INR 1,068.84 crore across EPC services and product segments including PV modules and solar pumps.
The company, in consortium with NVNR Power & Infra Ltd, has secured an INR 349.99 crore solar EPC order from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL), an arm of Coal India Ltd. The project entails the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant at Nandan Washery, Kanhan area, under Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL). Alpex Solar holds a 70% share in the project.
Under the project, the consortium will also construct a 32kV double-circuit transmission line from the main control station to the feeding substation, along with requisite bay extension works. The power generated will be supplied to various load centres within WCL through open access, ensuring captive consumption of clean energy.
