Greater Noida-based Alpex Solar Ltd, an NSE Emerge-listed manufacturer of solar systems, has won orders worth INR 1,068.84 crore across EPC services and product segments including PV modules and solar pumps.

The company, in consortium with NVNR Power & Infra Ltd, has secured an INR 349.99 crore solar EPC order from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL), an arm of Coal India Ltd. The project entails the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant at Nandan Washery, Kanhan area, under Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL). Alpex Solar holds a 70% share in the project.

Under the project, the consortium will also construct a 32kV double-circuit transmission line from the main control station to the feeding substation, along with requisite bay extension works. The power generated will be supplied to various load centres within WCL through open access, ensuring captive consumption of clean energy.

Since April 2025, the company has also received three more orders totaling INR 823.85 crore, including INR 758.52 crore for the supply of solar PV modules and INR 65.33 crore for solar pumps. The solar pump order, from the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), entails the supply of 2,119 solar water pumps under Component B of the PM-KUSUM scheme.
