RMC Switchgears sets up solar subsidiary

RMC Switchgears has incorporated a new subsidiary, RMC Solar One. The company holds 58% stake in this subsidiary.

RMC Solar One will be engaged in the business of  generation and distribution of power generated by solar, steam, hydro or tidal, water, wind, hydrocarbon fuel or any other resource. It will also carry on in India and abroad the business of establishing, commissioning, operating and maintaining electric power transmission systems/networks, power systems, and generating stations based on non-conventional resources.

Borosil Renewables announced it has received a total subsidy of INR 60.44 crore from the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITY) under the Modified Special Incentive Package Scheme of MEITY.

Adani Energy Solutions has executed a share purchase agreement with REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) for acquiring 100% equity shares of Mahan Transmission Ltd. “This acquisition is proposed to further AESL’s strategy for enhancing value for its shareholders through organic as well as inorganic opportunities,” stated AESL. “Mahan Transmission Ltd will evacuate 1,230 MW of power from Adani Power’s upcoming 1,600 MW expansion units at Mahan in Singrauli district and feed into the state grid.”
