Vikram Solar announced this week that it has secured a 397.7 MWp module supply order for NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. Its modules will be deployed for a significant portion of the massive 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat.
Vikram Solar will supply bifacial modules with rated output of 540 Wp each. The modules meet the domestic content requirement and stringent ALMM standards.
Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, Vikram Solar has a cumulative PV module production capacity of 3.5 GW. It is a ‘Top Performer’ in PVEL’s PV module reliability scorecard and has been included in the Tier 1 solar PV modules manufacturer list of BloombergNEF. Vikram Solar also has 1.57 GW of EPC portfolio comprising commissioned and under-execution projects. The company has a distribution network connecting more than 40 cities, ensuring the availability of solar products and solutions across 600+ locations in India.
