Waaree Energies Ltd, India’s largest manufacturer of solar PV modules with an aggregate installed capacity of 12 GW, as of June 30, 2023, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Mahindra Susten, a private-sector renewable power producer, for the supply of 280 MW of solar modules. Waaree Energies will supply 280 MW of AHNAY Series 545 Wp bifacial glass-to-glass modules to Mahindra Susten. These modules carry a 30-year output performance warranty.
The module delivery is expected during the third quarter of the current fiscal 2024-25.
Mahindra Susten, the clean-tech arm of the Mahindra Group, has developed over 1.5 GWp of renewable assets as an independent power producer (IPP), and successfully executed over 4.2 GWp of renewable projects on an EPC basis in India and across the globe. Mahindra Susten is currently developing over 1.4 GWp of projects as an IPP.
