NTPC has invited global bids to set up 1.5 GW of solar power projects. The projects can be built anywhere in India, as long as these are connected to the inter-state transmission system.
Bidding closes on August 29. Technical bids will open on the same day.
The Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) has extended the bidding for 300 MW of solar in Andhra Pradesh by two weeks. The new deadline is now August 10. The capacity, to be built in the Ramagiri district, is tendered under the second phase of the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme.
The successful bidder’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply (except PV modules), construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. It will also provide five-year operation and maintenance support for the plant.
