NTPC seeks 1.5 GW of solar modules

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, the renewable energy arm of state-owned power producer NTPC, has invited global bids to supply around 1.5 GW of solar modules for Shahjapur, Bhuj, and Bhadla PV projects in Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, respectively.  

The manufacturers can bid for either one project or a combination of multiple projects or all of the projects as mentioned below:

The scope of work includes manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, and transportation of Open category crystalline solar PV modules. Open category refers to solar cells and modules of any origin.
