NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL), on behalf of Green Valley Renewable Energy Ltd (its joint venture with DVC), has invited domestic bids to develop the power evacuation system for the 755 MW floating solar park at DVC’s Tilaiya and Panchet reservoirs in Jharkhand.
DVC is a statutory body under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India.
The prospective contractor’s scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of two 220 kV GIS park pooling stations with 160 MVA, 220/33-33 kV tie transformers. It shall also install a common power plant controller and grid compliance study for solar plants associated with the park pooling substations; develop 220 kV transmission lines from park pooling stations to Koderma thermal power station, and 33kV transmission lines from park pooling stations to designated points near respective reservoir; and supply and install various monitoring and testing equipment/kit associated with the GIS substation/tie transformer.
