Waaree is set to reach a cumulative solar module manufacturing capacity of 12 GW with its additional 3 GW starting production by March 2023. This will be the largest module manufacturing capacity in the world outside of China. The new addition will be equipped to produce 650 W modules, stated the manufacturer.

Waaree produces modules at its manufacturing facilities in Surat, Chikhli, Tumb, and Nandigram. It has obtained ALMM approval for high-wattage modules, including 650 Wp, 600 Wp and 540 Wp.

With the acquisition of PV cell manufacturer Indo Solar, Waaree will also start module production at Greater Noida in the National Capital Region from Q3 of 2022 to serve the domestic market.
