The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has tendered the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package with land and connectivity for 220 MW of grid-connected solar projects anywhere in Gujarat. The capacity is tendered under Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd’s tender for the purchase of 500 MW of solar power (Phase XIII). The successful bidders shall also be responsible for providing comprehensive operation and maintenance support for ten years.
The PV modules used in the projects must qualify to the latest edition of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) PV module qualification test or equivalent standards by the Bureau of Indian Standards. Further, PV modules must be warranted for peak output wattage of not less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years from the scheduled commissioning date of the project.
