Microtech Rollers, a manufacturer of forged and machined bearing races, has installed an aggregate 15 MW of solar projects in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat with inverters supplied by GoodWe. Site-wise capacity includes 3 MW+3.5 MW in Toda, 2.8 MW in Fagas, 4 MW in Khirasar, and 1.7 MW in Lakhatar.

A total of 136 GoodWe MT80KW inverters used in these projects are currently generating 27 GW of electricity per annum.

Harsh Bhanvadia from Microtech Rollers said, “We purchased 136 inverters from GoodWe and installed them at our various sites in the Saurashtra region. We have our best site at Khirasara…in which GoodWe inverters are performing at peak levels for 6 hours daily.”

GoodWe makes solar inverters ranging from 0.7 kW to 250 kW, catering to residential and commercial rooftops, industrial and utility-scale systems. It has delivered more than two million inverters and installed 23 GW in more than 100 countries and regions.

With up to four MPPT and 150% DC oversizing, GoodWe MT series inverters are suited for medium- to large-scale commercial roofs and farm plants. The MT series can operate in full load even at 50 degrees centigrade, which maximizes the return on investment. The range boasts advanced topology and innovative control technology to achieve maximum efficiency of 99.0%, aimed at maximizing long-term returns and profitability for the system owner.
