IIT Jodhpur to get a 3 MW rooftop solar plant

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids to set up a 3 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project at IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, along with operation and maintenance for ten years.

To be eligible, the bidder should have executed, either as a developer or EPC Contractor, the cumulative grid-connected solar capacity of a minimum 800 kW, out of which at least one rooftop solar plant should have been a minimum 100 kW. The reference plant of 100 kW or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the techno-commercial bid opening date.

Or, the bidder should have executed in the last ten years an industrial project (either as a developer or EPC contractor)—in power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and/or any other process industry—of a minimum INR 40 million value in a single project. The reference project should be in successful operation for at least one year. The bidder should also have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level.

The average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than INR 120 million.

Bids can be submitted until January 5, 2021.
